We provide housing with support to vulnerable adults in Buxton and Stoke

Sometimes, our life circumstances can mean that we need more than just a roof over our heads.
Sometimes we need the help of others to get us back on track.

Sometimes all of us need a gentle ‘kick up the backside’ to jolt us and help us see the opportunities for positive life changes around us.

That’s what life in Ark supported housing is. As a resident in Ark’s supported housing, you will be in regular contact with a dedicated support worker. This person will be on your side, fighting your battles with you, cheering you on, and encouraging you to look up and look around and see the positive opportunities that are there.

And when the time is right, and you’re ready to move on to more independent living, your support worker will be with you every step of the way.

Apply for Ark Housing

Applying for housing with ARK is simple. You tell us where you’d like to live, a little bit about yourself and your circumstances, and provide us with your contact details. We will then contact you to discuss your housing need and arrange to meet up to have a chat and see if we can help.

What to expect when applying to become an ARK resident?

When you apply to Ark Housing we will look at all the information you have provided, and then arrange a convenient time for a chat so we can get to know you better – this can be in person or over the phone. After that we’ll let you know whether you qualify for our housing and support, and if we have a suitable property for you.

If we do have somewhere we think you’d like, we’ll arrange for you to view it and move in if you’re happy. We will also discuss how we can best support you, and together come up with a plan that will help you to live your best life with us.

That’s it – simple. Just follow the link, let us have your details, and we’ll do the rest.

Report Anti-Social Behaviour

Sometimes the vulnerabilities of the adults we house cause them to exhibit behaviour that may be outside the bounds of what would be considered normal or acceptable within the community. If and when this happens, please record details of the incident on this form. Our support workers will then be able to investigate and address the issue, so reducing the frequency of any future incidents.
